We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Business Administration Trainee to join our friendly team at Park Beach Bowls Club. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in a supportive and welcoming environment.

The role covers both reception and administration, giving you a well-rounded introduction to the world of business. You’ll be working full time, 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our new Business Administration Trainee, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Phone and email enquiries
• Learning valuable business skills

If you think Mondays can’t be fun, think again. Park Beach Bowling Club is hosting Musical Bingo Beats every Monday from 6pm, and it’s exactly what your week needs to get off to a great start.

Musical Bingo Beats takes the classic game you know and love and gives it a brilliant twist. Instead of numbers, you’re matching songs – tracks you recognise, love, and probably know every single word to. It’s bingo, but with a playlist that’ll have you humming along all night.

A Fantastic Two Days of Bowls at the Watsons Pairs Tournament

What a great couple of days it was at Park Beach Bowls Club! The Watsons Pairs Tournament delivered two days of fantastic bowls, bringing together players and supporters for a memorable event on the greens.

Congratulations to our winners, Darren Lindner and Cindy Domjahn, who took out the top honours. Runner-up honours went to Margo Parker and Damien Miller – a brilliant effort from all competitors across the tournament.

Premier Classic Pairs Tournament 2025

What a fantastic few days of bowls here at Park Beach Bowls Club! The Premier Classic Pairs Tournament delivered outstanding competition, great sportsmanship, and an atmosphere that truly showcased everything our club is proud of.

A huge thank you to all the players who travelled to compete and helped make this year’s Premier Classic Pairs such a high-quality event. It was wonderful to host bowlers from across the region and see the skill and camaraderie on display throughout the tournament.

Congratulations to Our Winners and Placegetters

Congratulations to Overall Winners Wendy Clarke (Raymond Terrace) and Virginia Longfellow (Club Tweed), who took out the top honours in impressive fashion. Well done to 2nd place finishers Genevieve Stanton-Latimer (Sawtell) and Elaine Cameron (Urunga) on a fantastic performance. Congratulations also to all other winners and placegetters on your well-deserved achievements.

A special mention goes to our President Joan for presenting the awards and representing the club so warmly throughout the event.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible efforts of our volunteers, officials, sponsors, staff, and supporters. Your hard work behind the scenes made the tournament the success it was, and we are truly grateful.

There’s always something happening at Park Beach Bowls Club. From free bingo and trivia nights to weekly meat raffles, members draws and great-value drinks, your social calendar is covered from Monday through to Sunday.

Monday – Bingo Beats & Parkie’s Mate Rates

Kick off the week with Bingo Beats from 6:00pm – free to play and open to all ages. Before the fun begins, take advantage of Parkie’s Mate Rates from 3:30pm to 5:30pm with $6 selected tap beers, selected wines and Coronas.

Wednesday – Trivia Night, Meat Raffle & Members Draws

Wednesday nights are packed at the club. Trivia Night with Oppy Entertainment gets underway with sign-ups from 6:30pm and is free to play. The weekly meat raffle features 20 trays, with tickets on sale from 5:30pm and draws starting at 6:30pm. Members Draws follow at 7:00pm and 7:30pm. Parkie’s Mate Rates run from 3:00pm to 5:30pm with $6 selected tap beers, selected wines and Coronas.

Friday – Weekly Meat Raffle & Members Draws

Friday nights feature the biggest weekly meat raffle with 30 trays up for grabs. Tickets go on sale from 5:30pm, with draws from 6:30pm. Members Draws are called at 7:00pm and 7:30pm – a great way to round out the week.

Sunday – Seafood Sunday, Dice Duels & More

Sundays are a local favourite. On the second Sunday of every month, head to Green One Cafe for Seafood Sunday from 12:00pm to 2:30pm. Later in the afternoon, Parkie’s Mate Rates return from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. Dice Duels kick off at 5:30pm, with tickets available with any purchase from the bar or bottle shop. The weekly meat raffle (20 trays) draws from 6:30pm, and Members Draws are held at 7:00pm and 7:30pm.

A huge congratulations to Tyson Wilson and Nathan Black, who have taken out the 2026 Phoenix Open Pairs at Park Beach Bowls Club. Well done to both players on a brilliant result.

Runners-up Haydn Bojkowski and Travis Moran also deserve a big round of applause for their efforts throughout the competition. It was clearly a closely fought event with some outstanding bowls on display.
